Kids Worship on Wednesdays
Kids Worship on Wednesdays (WOW) is a program of worship, praise, discovery and games on Wednesday nights from 6:45pm-8:05pm in EA-211 (Elevate Room). The kids travel to 4 different rooms during the 1 hour and 20 minute evening.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:2
The program is open to children who are 4 by September 1, 2008 through 5 Grade. (The program for Preschool and Kindergarten is adapted for their age group.)
The Imagination Room (Preschool and Kindergarten Only)
The Imagination Room is a room filled with child-friendly instruments. The children take scripture and create rhythm and music that best expresses the Word, as well as play along with worship and praise songs.
The Discovery Room (all grades)
The Discovery Room is where the children learn Hymn Treasures which is a hymn memory program (grade level appropriate). Kids learn about the hymn composer and lyricist as well as play games with the hymn. Biblical truths in the hymns are explored and explained.
The Hallelujah Room (all grades)
The Hallelujah Room is the place where the grades combine (lower grades together and upper grades together) for a choir and worship experience. The music encompasses a variety of styles from fun to beautiful.
The Adventure/Game Room (all grades)
The Adventure/Game Room is full of many fun activities. Kids may create a craft that coordinates with a theme for the season, play instruments, or enjoy music games which will reinforce concepts in scripture and worship songs.
The WoW Worship Room (1st - 5th grades)
The WoW Worship Room is the end of the evening. This is a 20 minute time of high energy praise, quiet worship and Bible study that includes live music, drama and teaching.
